The International Theater
of Frankfurt is probably the only theatre where guest performances from all over the world
are presented by artists in their native culture: drama, music, dance and concerts
as well as from time to time readings, movie and art exhibitions. Talks in
the spacious Foyer of the theatre between the artists You can reach the International Theater of Frankfurt easily at its site at the Eastside of Frankfurt within Zoo-Passage (Hanauer Landstrasse 5-7): by car (in-house parking "Zoo-Passage" Entry Grüne Strasse), by S-Bahn (Stop "Ostendstrasse" exit Hanauer Landstrasse), by U-Bahn (Stop "Zoo") and by tramway 11 and 14 (Stop "OStendstrasse"). The theatre is an non-profit association (e.V.) and is managed by its honorary Managing DIrector. 30 % of the theatre's total costs are financed by the City of Frankfurt. 70 % of the total costs have to be financed by the box-office (almost 50 %) and funds from other donors. In this context the "Society of Friends Internationales Theater Frankfurt e.V." plays an important role; it supports the theatre with the donation of its members. Therefore, become a friend of the theatre in order to save the existence of this unique cultural centre also in the future!
